Plate heat exchangers in this category are used to connect heat pump systems with central heating systems. Working Principle

The plate heat exchanger is made up of a plurality of corrugated heat transfer plates which re pressed at a certain interval by rubber gaskets. When the plates are in assembling,

 the two groups are alternately arranged, and the plates are fixed with rubber sealing gaskets by adhesion. The function of rubber gaskets is to prevent the fluid from leaking and developing a narrow flow passage between two plates. Plates of heat exchangers are pressed in various corrugated shapes to increase the area and rigidity and enhance heat transfer's effect by developing turbulence at a low rate. The four corner holes on each plate form a fluid distribution pipe and a discharge pipe. Two heat exchange mediums respectively flow into the respective flow paths to form a countercurrent or concurrent flow through each plate for heat exchange.
